A healthy snack.

I know I am not the only one who is trying to lose weight, so I thought I would share a snack idea I learned from my mom. It's great in the middle of the day when I am hungry and I want something a little sweet. And, it only takes 5 minutes (which is good for me because when I get hungry and cranky I also turn extremely impatient and lazy.)

All you need is:
an apple
craisins/raisins (whichever you prefer)
splenda (optional)
cinnamon

Directions:
Cut up the apple into small cubes, and put those into a bowl (I use a cereal bowl). Add some craisins/raisins. Sprinkle splenda and cinnamon on the top. Put in microwave for 1.5 or 2 minutes, depending on how mushy you like your apples. Take out and enjoy!
My mom says, "It's a great healthy snack." And it has next to no calories, so it won't screw up your diet (just don't put too many raisins!) Try it and let me know what you think!

Eva- I am not a big fan of either, and it's not necessary to put them in, it's just a bonus.
