Sometimes it is nice to have the windows down on your drive home from work. It's good to hear the noises outside and realize that we aren't islands. It's so easy to think of ourselves as independent people that don't rely on others, but it's false.We are not isolated in our cars, we are connected. If only we focused more on our commonalities rather than the things that separate us, how much better would that make us? We are people and we have things in common. Even if the only thing we have in common is that we drive the 5 freeway home after work, that's still fine.
